Update on work

Hi ladies, I got a call from my Drs office finally after I left a message yesterday. Dr. C wants me off work until 6 -8 weeks after I deliver. In a way its good I guess, because I was miserable!!!! But in another way I just LOVE my job, and hate to have the girls with a sub for so long. AND I will go stir crazy!!! LOL I’m not on bedrest he just wants me to not be on my feet as much and not to have the heavy lifting that I have at work.

I’m a little sad because my good friend at work just found out she has cancer this year and recently found out it’s a stage 3, I’m sure she will be off work for awhile too, but I hate not getting to spend time with her as much. I’m hoping I can take her to and from appts and chemo when she needs me too. She is just the sweetest little thing. She just lost her DH in February and now she found this out. She has been through so much, I feel bad complaining about my back when she is dealing with cancer. Poor thing!

So thats my update!!! I have another OB appt on the 11th will update after that unless something exciting happens before then!

24 week update

I am really feeling the boys these days. Work is getting to be to much. Today was horrible. For those that don't know I am on my feet at my job for about 3 1/2 hours a day, and I do allot of lifting, including lifting things above my head to bring out to the line. I stand at a dishwasher rinsing off trays (about 600 a day or more) and my belly is butting up against the rail and so I have to bend allot to get the trays rinsed off, then lift those and put them all away, cleaning shelving etc.., Its a SIMPLE job when not pregnant, and I LOVE my job as unglamorus as it is, (it got me out of the house when I was about to loose my mind doing daycare) :-) but its just really hard to do being pregnant. So I called Dr C after work, but of course no call back, so hopefully he will call me tomorrow. Dr. C told me after I explained to him what my job entalied to just let him know when it got to be to much and he would write me off until the birth, I swore I wouldn't leave early, but my siatica (ms) is horrible these days and the lifting and standing is just to much for my already bad back. I have begun having contractions, which are just small ones, nothing major right now I had them before as well but I fear they could turn into more if I were to continue the job I am doing right now. I called my boss and left her a message that I would not be in tomorrow. Not sure after that but I just can't have another day like today so I am resting tomorrow. Maybe tomorrows rest will be all I need, who knows. I will let you know once I hear from the Dr. and what he says!

Good thing I did most of my Christmas shopping online this year. Just have a few little things to pick up and some Gift Cards. There's no way I could do all the shopping I do up and out on my feet. When I have gone I have just done little bits at a time and that hasn't been to bad. I can handle and hour or two but nothing more than that.

23 week OB visit

I had my OB appt today. It was a normal boring appt. :-) I gained weight, and I am 23 weeks today and measuring THIRTY TWO!!!!!!!!!! LOL I laughed at that!! Leave it to me to be HUGE!! :-) BP was 100/60 so that was good!!

I don't think I mentioned before but when we had our u/s in CA a week ago they said one of the babies kidneys was a little enlarged from fluid, I guess it measured a 7 and 5 and under is normal. So I told the Dr about this and am getting the report to send to him, but he wants me to come in and have another u/s in 3 weeks so they can check on that. I'm sure its nothing the U/S tech in CA didn't seem to worried he said they will just keep an eye on it. So next appt I get to have my Blood Sugar test, (GAG) my Rhogam shot (OUCH) and an U/S (which I just about pass out on each time I have one, because of having to lay back in that position), So I'm really not looking forward to my next appt!! LOL Lots of needles!! If I lay on my side I do better but she can't get good measurements all the time with me on my side so she likes me on my back as much as I can handle it and when its twins I just can't do it. She had to bring in a fan and a wet rag last time I was there, I got so bad. But I did ok on my side in CA so hopefully I will be ok on my side and she can get what she needs.

So thats my update!! Nothing to exciting. My next appt is 12/11.

My Trip to California

I had a great time. The weather was wonderful. We shopped and ate and shopped and ate some more. Kristina went crazy on buying me maternity clothes. And then she said I HAD to have a good pair of shoes, she promises they will help my back. They are some fancy brand, I think they are french the sizes are different and the name sounds french, but they are cute and comfy, I kept telling her she needed to stop, I had to be careful with saying oh that’s so cute, because then she would pick it up and buy it. LOL I tried a few times to pay for things and she refused. She is so sweet!! So I am stocked for maternity clothes!! Anyone that needs a good pair of maternity jeans and you don’t mind spending some mula on them go to pee in the pod and get their jeans they are SO comfy. I got the ones with the full seamless naked waistband. I have had such trouble finding jeans that fit comfortably. These are great!! They were the cheapest of the about 30 I tried on though so that was comforting. At least they were not the $225 pair!! Can you imagine paying that much for a pair of jeans??? CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well anyway I had a great time, and if she can send me some of the pictures from the sono we had done I will post them. The boys looked great and were measuring right on. Little boy B was kicking his brother in the privates over and over when we first started. It was SO funny!! We were all cracking up!! Gayle my friend that came down from the Sacremento area was the picture taker this weekend,when she sends me the pictures i will post some. They will be of us at the u/s, Gayle was there along with Kristinas friends and their two kids. Then the others are at Pierres dads house. Popo is Pierre's dad (real name is Peirre) he is just the cutest funniest little guy!! He kept rubbing y belly calling the babies Pierre (once he found out which was A he said that was Pierre) and the other Peter. He was so funny!! Him and Brigette are so cute!! They are so sweet and so welcoming of me into their family. They are so excited to have their new grandsons! I can't wait to see pictures of them holding the boys for the first time!! :-)

I have to say thank you so much to Kristina and Pierre for the wonderful weekend. Also for upgrading my trip home to 1st class. It was so nice to have room to squirm around. The clothes, the food, the massage, the love and everything else was wonderful. Thank you so much for all you do for me, I truly don't expect or deserve it. I honestly do this out of the love I have for you and your family. But thank you for all you have done for me and my family, you really are a wonderful family.
