28 week update

I had my OB appt yesterday. I found out that I failed the first Gestational Diabetes test so I have to take the 3 hour test. This is a first for me! :-( Its not going to be fun, I have to FAST for EIGHT hours then the test is THREE hours!! I am going to chew the arm off the couch in the waiting room. I think I am going to go tomorrow to do it. I looked up the lab hours at the OBs office and tomorrow they open at 8am. Otherwise I would have to wait until 10:00. I want it done and over with first thing in the morning. I wake up hungry so not eating from midnight until 11 am or so oh boy!! I sure hope I pass this test. I can't imagine being having gestational diabetes. That would be HORRIBLE!! I am so picky with what I eat anyway then they want to tell me what I have to eat and what I can't?? That won't be good!! LOL So please pray the test comes back ok!!

I also found out that my iron was low so I am now on iron pills. He said it was normal in pregnancy and nothing to worry about. But again never happened to me!! Everything was going so well!!

I am well on my way to passing my biggest weight gain in pregnancy which was with the twins I carried before!! I saw the scale and about had a heart attack. I gained 4#s in 2 weeks!!! AAAHHHH BP was good 112/70. High for me but normal for me during pregnancy!! :-)

My next appt is the 4th (going ever two weeks now) and I will have an u/s as well. So I will have some more pictures to show off.

I am just getting over a horrible cold. I still felt awful this morning but this evening I feel allot better. Still really tired and drained and still stuffy, but nothing like the last few days. Being sick while pregnant is no fun!! But thankfully I think the worst part is behind me now!!

27 week update

Nothing to exciting to post today. Everything has been fine. I have been able to get out and do a little Christmas shopping, but not to long at a time. My husband keeps teasing me because I tell him I think I am done....then he calls later in the week and I am out again getting something. LOL I just can't stay out long so I have to make several trips. About an hour or so is all i can handle these days without pooping out!! I did allot on line so that did help!!!

But I am happy to say I am officially DONE!!!!!! No more shopping for me!! :-) No I am going to go stir crazy at home!!

I took a few more pictures tonight. This is our last week in the 6th month!!! Hard to believe things are coming to an end soon. Not to soon, but not to far off. Kristina and Pierre bought their train tickets to come out for the birth. We are planning for an induction on March 3rd. I will be 38weeks that day and my Dr will induce at 38 weeks. (for twins). Of course they could be totally opposite of any child I have delivered and come on their own time, but right now we are planning to be induced since thats what I have had to have done in the past pregnancies. They will be here the 28th I think of Feb until the 10th of March. So we will have a nice visit after the birth if all goes well and as we have planned!! LOL

26 week OB and U/S

Well we had our 26 week appt today. All went well. Although, Melissa (a friend that went with me) and I were there for 2 hours!!! They called me back for my u/s first, I did pretty good this time, I brought my own big fluffy pillow and that helped prop me up. For those that dont know or that haven't had multiples, i have a horrible time with U/Ss because I can't breath laying down flat I have to be propped up so everytime I have an u/s I just about pass out. I get hot, sweaty and shaky. Today she had a fan in there just for me!! She was prepared!! :-) I will post the pictures below, but the boys stats are great. Baby A was 2.1 lbs (the smaller of the two) and Baby B was 2.5 lbs. Everything meausured great!! They were moving ALL over the place so she had a hard time getting pictures and measurments. But she ended up with some realy cute pics. One of the boys was spread eagle!! To funny!!

I gained a few pounds which I guess is normal, but I'm not liking scales much these days!! :- ) I measured 36 weeks!!!! At 23 weeks only 3 weeks ago I measured 32!!!! So I pretty much look just about full term!! :-)

These boys are just a movin and a grovin in there!! They do nothing but kick and squirm all over the place. They will be very active little boys thats for sure!! :-) Get your sleep now Kristina!

Ellas 2nd Birthday

On November 30th my sweet little surro baby Ella turned 2!!! She is just the cutest thing!! I had to post some picutres of her that Sarah sent me. I just love her cheeks and all her curls!!! Here are a few older ones, this first is right after we had her, the 2nd is Christmas last year right before she got sick with RSV, she as in the hospital for a VERY long time, the 3rd is of my visit down there for her 1st birtday last year! Then the others are from her bday this year. I can't believe how much she has grown!! It just dosen't seem possible for it to be TWO years already. How blessed I am to have her and her family in my life!! They are truly wonderful people!!
